A March 28 earthquake in Myanmar destroyed 15 church buildings and significantly damaged 10 others. Eight million people have been internally displaced by the quake, joining 19 million displaced persons already living in the nation.

Mal Underwood, a Brentwood Baptist DR volunteer, described the relief effort as a multi-stage process. “Flood relief is about triaging first responses — getting the mud out and helping families return to a degree of normalcy,” he said.
“Well, goodness, the Word of God … I need it,” Butch Wilmore said Monday (March 31) during a press conference. “My pastors are the finest pastors on or off, in this case, the planet.”
