Building relationships across state lines and serving as one family is what Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarksville and Emmaus Church in Manchester, N.H., have been doing together for the past four years.
The Georgia Baptist Mission Board is launching a new round of Public Affairs Training events this month, designed to equip pastors and church members with the tools and insights they need to effectively engage in today’s landscape.
“One of the catch phrases is ‘authenticity is the currency of this generation,’” said PJ Dunn, a discipleship consultant for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board.

The figures come from the Annual Church Profile (ACP), an annual survey completed by churches to track key metrics like baptisms, attendance, and giving. This year, nearly 70% of churches participated in the survey.
The Georgia Baptist Mission Board’s college ministry catalyst, Beverly Skinner, said, “Spring Break Mission Trips are one of our best discipleship tools in BCM.”
