A new online tool developed by George Barna has been launched by Arizona Christian University’s Cultural Research Center. The ACU Worldview Assessment is designed to help individuals evaluate and strengthen their biblical worldview, the university announced in a news release.
Drawing on more than 40 years of research, the assessment measures beliefs and behaviors across five key categories, providing a personalized report that reveals how closely one’s worldview aligns with biblical truth.

Barna created versions tailored for individuals, K-12 schools, churches and universities to support spiritual development at all life stages.
Concerning data
The launch comes amid concerning data from the research center’s American Worldview Inventory, which found only 4% of U.S. adults — and just 6% of self-identified Christians — possess a biblical worldview.
Barna noted the tool’s practical purpose: “Understanding your worldview is essential for making decisions that honor God.”
“Worldview is the lens through which we interpret every aspect of life — from the choices we make daily to our long-term decisions that shape our future,” he said. “For Christians, a biblical worldview is foundational because it provides a reliable framework for discerning truth and guiding behavior. It influences how we think, act and interact with others, ensuring that our decisions reflect the values taught by Jesus. Decisions based on a flawed worldview can have negative consequences, steering your life away from the abundant, purposeful life God intends. In contrast, the biblical worldview provides the framework to live your best life — a life marked by meaning, purpose, flourishing and the desire to please God in all you do.”
