“I’ve been consistently surprised by the stories God is writing in the world,” Drew van Esselstyn said. “I’ve been humbly reminded time and again that God is the best storyteller.”
More than 650 women were encouraged by inspirational messages, met with missionaries, participated in mission projects and gathered and interacted with like-minded sisters in Christ to grow in their faith and relationships with each other.
“Our life with IMB has been a holy adventure,” said retiring IMB missionary Sean Blacksten. “Our encouragement to others is allow God to hold the pen and your story will be perfectly written.”
The Off the Grid Institute, a ministry of the Tennessee Baptist Conference Centers, will sponsor a one-day seminar on May 14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Carson Springs Baptist Conference Center in Newport.
