What if we all took advantage of this current change of seasons to freshen up the areas and spaces we inhabit?
A friend said to me recently, “You can’t save everybody, Jennifer,” and while that’s true, I still prefer to hold on to another friend’s reminder about the starfish story.
The month of February provides the perfect time to focus on what our daily lives might look like if we intentionally sought to serve others sacrificially, even outside of the crisis moments.
Practicing routines and following systems help us grow as a team and challenge us to be disciplined in our assignments. It allows each of us to pull our weight while also providing a clear path for others to help.

“Consider meditating on every verse you see or hear each day, no matter how you find them. Take a minute to look up the passage and read through it slowly, looking for what God might be saying to you in that moment,” writes Jennifer Rash.
“Whatever the reason we are putting off a specific task, it likely comes down to a sense of being overwhelmed — that we aren’t sure where to start or we dread the actions required,” writes Jennifer Rash.
