Go Now Missions, a ministry of Baptist General Convention of Texas that mobilizes university students to share the love of Christ around the world, has appointed 100 student missionaries to serve and share the gospel during Christmas break.
It’s Christmas Eve morning, and a group of families from Ecclesia Community Church is working its way through a series of parking lots, making visits to local businesses, offices, and restaurants.
“The need for mass feeding in Israel has declined to the point where our Israeli partners can meet the need on their own with TBM-designed equipment,” said Mickey Lenamon, TBM executive director/CEO.
“When I learned about PAVE, I decided to go learn more. I refused to pull the plug on [Saint Luke],” said one San Antonio pastor. “It was like CPR to revive us. The program, for me, has been a godsend.”
What began as a joke made in front of a rural Texas congregation ended with a gift of more than $26,000 contributed to enable Texas Baptist Men and their ministry partners to drill new water wells in Peru.
