The Democratic National Convention in Chicago wrapped up Thursday evening (Aug. 22) with vice president Kamala Harris accepting the DNC nomination during her speech. The Republican National Convention was held July 15–18 in Milwaukee.
Among the week’s featured speakers at the DNC were President Joe Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Tim Walz, who formally accepted the party’s nomination as vice president on Wednesday night.
