Gateway Seminary’s presidential search committee is accepting nominations and applications for the role of president until Dec. 15.
At Gateway’s fall 2023 trustee meeting on Oct. 10, seminary president Jeff Iorg asked the board of trustees to initiate a transition process to select the institution’s next leader. As part of the transition process, Phil Kell, chairman of the trustees, appointed fellow trustee Robert White to lead the search committee.
Interested parties or those with questions about the role or process can email searchcommittee@gs.edu or visit www.gs.edu/presidential-candidate-search.
In addition to White of Georgia, search committee members included the following: Daniel Atkins, Alabama; Kevin Carrothers, Illinois; Gilroy Chow, Mississippi; Steve Davidson, California; Andrew Dyer, Kentucky; Marsha Gray, Washington; Vincent Hayes, California; Phil Kell, California; Rally de Leon, North Carolina; Chuck Morton, South Carolina; Kevin Scott, Massachusetts.
In addition to reviewing candidate information, the presidential search committee is also soliciting information from various key seminary constituencies over the next few weeks. The candidate evaluation phase will begin later in December and continue into February.
