Two churches in Hawaii — Cornerstone Fellowship and The Gathering — merged to become one church, the Pacific Connector reported.
The name of the merged church, which met for the first time May 23, is GracePoint Church.
“Because God is bringing two significant churches together like this, it is becoming more evident that He has a great purpose for GracePoint Church,” said James Shiroma, who pastored The Gathering prior to the merger and is now the lead pastor of GracePoint Church.
