OBITUARIES

  • William Marion Waddle, who served as an international missionary to Uganda and as pastor to five Mississippi churches for 20 years, died March 15. He was 89.

Staff changes

  • Ian Bennett is the new pastor of Melrose Baptist Church, Yazoo County Baptist Association. 
  • Matt Crumpton is the new pastor of Montrose Baptist Church, Jasper County
    Baptist Association.
  • Zach DePriest is the new student ministry consultant in the Discipleship/Sunday School Department of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board.
  • Rodney Jones is the new pastor of Wiggins Baptist Church, Carthage, Leake County Baptist Association.
