In 2011, Julio Calderin planted Iglesia Bautista Vida Eterna at First Baptist Church, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Today the church has grown to about 150 people.
In addition to serving as pastor, Calderin has served as a chaplain at a prison and two corrections centers and has taught classes for Gateway Theological Seminary.
The church sponsors an orphanage with more than 30 children in Mexicali, Mexico, and has sponsored missionaries to Spain, Cuba and Turkey.
Prayer is a gift from Almighty God. We can talk with our Creator at any time, wherever we find ourselves.

Nobody likes being rejected. Most people fear rejection. Most of us have been rejected: by other kids at school, by a friend, parent, spouse, coworker, by life. Southern Baptist Evangelist Sammy Tippit tackles that subject in his newest book, “The Smile of God In a Hostile World.”
“The network exists to strengthen churches within our associations by equipping church leaders to support and serve one another.”
Hey there,
We’ve seen firsthand how stories can change lives and expand the kingdom of God. And in an effort to remove any barriers to the Lord’s redemptive work, we’ve made our stories free for everyone here on our website.
Support from readers like you makes this possible. Would you take a moment to support this work today?
