Southern Baptist women from New Mexico’s Tri-Area Baptist Association, partnering with Hope 4 Women International, sewed and donated 47 dresses to girls in need in Honduras, which is recovering from two hurricanes within the past year.
The women sent the dresses to missionaries Osmany and Jennifer Hernandez, friends of Melissa Lamb, New Mexico WMU’s president, the Baptist New Mexican reported.
Other Southern Baptist women in the state have made dresses for girls throughout the world, with COVID presenting some distribution challenges.
