Since being elected sheriff in 2014, Paul Thomas, a member of Englewood Baptist Church, Jackson, Tennessee, has sought to positively impact the lives of inmates at Gibson County Correctional Complex.
Whether it’s establishing a highly successful reentry program, hosting a one-night revival or feeding inmates an Easter meal — on his dime, no less — Thomas continually looks for opportunities to improve inmates’ lives and, whenever possible, introduce them to Jesus, the Baptist and Reflector reported.
