More than 430 first-time givers helped Houston’s First Baptist Church surpass its 2021 missions goal of $1.4 million.
As of June 10, the offering total is $2,922,230 — a new record for the church and more than double the original goal.
Houston’s First Baptist is a large church in a large community. But a commitment to sacrificial missions giving doesn’t require a large church, said missions director Clark Reynolds. “Every church has a role to play, large or small.”
