The Southern Baptist Convention has been named in a lawsuit filed against a Texas church. According to the Houston Chronicle, three Jane Does, suing for
“God revealed Himself to me through the love and kindness of Pastor Richey and Melissa,” she said. “They did not look at my appearance. They accepted me as their own and introduced me to Jesus Christ.”
Mandisa, Grammy award-winning Christian music artist, passed away at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday (Apr. 18). She was 47, according to a news release by K-Love radio network. The cause of her death is not yet available.
“What people think many times is going to stop us, really just encourages us, in a weird way, to know that we’re doing what’s right,” said pastor Greg Locke.
