Forty Baptist leaders representing 22 states joined the Family Research Council to send a letter to the White House asking President Trump to stand firm in defending the unborn and to protect women and girls from the dangers of the abortion pill mifepristone.

In 1986, Nelda Seal became executive director of Louisiana WMU and served in that role until 1995. She returned as interim director from 1998 to 2001, then took on the same role for Texas WMU in 2008.

More than 20 people made decisions to follow Christ at the conclusion of the 61st annual Louisiana Governor’s Prayer Breakfast, April 16.
