Our small town church, South Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Decatur, AL, is looking for someone to invest in building up our young youth group. This position will ensure there is programming appropriate for 7th-12th grade students, while also maintaining connecting to college students. Teaching a youth aged Sunday School class for students 7th grade and higher.
Building a Wednesday night programming for these students.
Counseling parents and families when needed.
Planning age appropriate events and activities for students.
Working in tandem with current staff and deacons, as needed.
Helping with larger congregation events (holidays, missions, outreaches, ect.) as appropriate.
Moderate to Fluent skills in technology preferred.
Expected to work 10-15 hours a week.
