Former University of Arizona ethics professor Daniel Grossenbach has filed a lawsuit alleging he was fired for publicly opposing his children’s school district policies on gender ideology, Decision magazine reported.

Grossenbach, a Christian parent, spoke at Catalina Foothills School District board meetings, criticizing policies that allowed teachers to survey students about sexuality and promote gender ideology without parental consent. The university reportedly declined to renew Grossenbach’s contract following anonymous complaints about his religious speech. Liberty Counsel, representing him, claims the dismissal violates the First Amendment and Title VII protections against religious discrimination.
