Ten Baptist Student Union students from Missouri Southern State University, along with MBCollegiate Campus Missionary Jon Smith and his wife, recently spent a week helping with recovery efforts from last year’s East Troublesome wildfire in Colorado.
As they shoveled ash and sifted rubble, students looked for opportunities to share the gospel with homeowners, The Pathway reported.
“There was an overwhelming sense of joy at being able to serve and doing things to be on mission outside of campus,” Smith said.
