Authorities have released 100 children abducted last month from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Nigeria. A presidential spokesperson confirmed the release on Dec. 7, according to news reports.
Gunmen reportedly entered the boarding school before dawn on Nov. 21. According to reports, they seized 303 students and 12 staff members. Following the raid, 50 students escaped. More than 150 reportedly remain unaccounted for, and questions remain on specifics of the release.
