More and more churches are seeing first responder rooms as an opportunity to show love to their community, and Biltmore Church in western North Carolina is one of them. They will open their second first responder room – this one at their East Asheville campus – on Aug. 9.
The goal is to have 2,000 conversations a year, which is approximately 40 conversations per week for this mid-sized congregation. “That’s not absurd, and that’s not lowballing,” said Rob Tims.
