This in-between season, after Christmas and before Easter, is when smart pastors, ministry and communication leaders quietly fix small things that make a big difference.
Here are seven that are fast, doable church branding wins you can knock out while waiting for the snow to melt.
1. Rewrite your church website headline.
If a first-time guest landed on your church website today, would they know who your church is for?
Replace generic faith language with one clear, welcoming sentence. Formula: Who you help. Where you are. Why it matters.

2. Make service times impossible to miss online.
This is still the number one church communication mistake.
Put service times on:
- Your website homepage
- Your footer
- Social media bios
- Google listing
Clarity is kindness. Be known for clarity.

Your church bulletin is not a newsletter. So, take out your editor’s scissors! Remove extra announcements, insider language, and anything not happening soon. Shorter bulletins get read. Longer ones get ignored.
