If this was just a story about a whole team of 12 year old boys winning the World Series and finding their faith all at the same time, it would be worth your time. But it’s so much deeper than that even. It involves a coach who lost his dad. It involves a grandad who saw something unexplainable. It involves a mom who chose to put her life on the line to see God move in a way that some might think unfathomable. And it involves a whole community changing. That’s on this season of Stories, produced by TAB Media Group.
Stories is a deep dive into people’s lives, hosted by Grace Thornton. Each week, you’ll hear the next chapter in their story, in their own words. New episodes are released on Friday mornings.
Not many people volunteer to go through seasons of suffering like cancer or grief. But Debbie Latham and Jeremy Beck both believe in God’s hands, it’s worth the pain.
Robert Lemonds had no interest at all in church – he hadn’t been in one in more than 50 years. But when he agreed to go to his grandchildren’s baptism, he saw something he couldn’t explain, something that shook him to the core.
After Jeremy Beck lost his dad last year, he struggled with “why.” But in the months that followed, he began to see God unfolding an amazing story, starting with his son’s baseball team.
A tiny church baptizes a whole baseball team — and that’s just the part of the story. It’s also about a coach who lost his dad, a grandfather who saw something unexplainable and a mother who put her life on the line to see God move.
