What if today you went in for a routine checkup and the doctor pulled up a chair and told you something that rocked your world: he’s not sure how you’re still alive. You should already be dead. You’re living on borrowed time and any second now it could just run out. That happened to Sammy Gilbreath. But he’s still alive. And not only that, Sammy has looked death in the face again and again. He jumped out of an airplane and things got dicey. He walked into a prison and got toe-to-toe with a gang lord. And over and over he lived. They’re tales you’ll have to hear to believe. And you’ll hear them all on this season of Stories, produced by TAB Media Group.
Stories is a deep dive into people’s lives, hosted by Grace Thornton. Each week, you’ll hear the next chapter in their story, in their own words. New episodes are released on Friday mornings.

When Sammy Gilbreath heard that 50,000 people were riding the Trail of Tears on motorcycle and no one was sharing Jesus with them, he bought a motorcycle. He couldn’t have imagined that would lead to a face off with a gang lord in a prison.
