God’s Pit Crew and First Baptist Church Rolling Fork, Mississippi, recently partnered for a large-scale mobile Blessing Bucket packing assembly, resulting in the preparation of more than 1,000 Blessing Buckets and 1,000 children’s Play Pails for future disaster response efforts.
Leaders from the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Ukrainian Baptist Union signed an agreement Nov. 18 establishing church-to-church partnerships between Texas and Ukrainian Baptist churches.
Messengers to the Nov. 4-5 Illinois Baptist State Association annual meeting were presented with five resolutions by the Resolutions and Christian Life Committee which were overwhelmingly approved.
“This familiar season of gratitude also exposes the nagging, internal struggle that wreaks havoc in the typical American heart. Though we want to grow in thankfulness, enticements toward greed often overcome us,” noted pastor Adam Dooley.
