A storm system that has moved across much of the U.S. is wreaking havoc on millions as snow, sleet and freezing rain are leaving many without electricity and unable to travel.
As the nation braces for a blast of snow and ice this week, thousands of pro-life supporters are expected to gather Friday (Jan. 23) on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for the 53rd National March for Life.
“We are united in the conviction that the gospel of Jesus transcends political agendas. … While we recognize the tensions surrounding federal enforcement, the local church is a place for spiritual transformation and biblical teaching, not a platform for political theater or coerced denouncements,” said Trey Turner, who leads the Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Convention.
